On the 7th of July, 2019, the Emosian government officially pulled its peacekeeping diplomats from Auvenum due to rising disapproval of Emosian involvement.
As Emosian diplomats attempted to calm Auvenese citizens in order to reach an agreement with the Prince, the Auvenese citizens begin to disapprove of the diplomats' presence, calling the diplomats "middlemen" and "ballasts for the Prince." Realising that the angered citizens were becoming more hostile towards the diplomats, they had asked the citizens whether they had wanted the diplomats to leave. The Auvenese citizens unanimously responded yes. "Auvenum is a lost cause for Emosia," says Robert Dunakin, one of the diplomats. "The citizens are not willing to accept help from a foreign power. There is nothing we can do but wait and see what happens."

On 4 July 2019, the Empire of Emosia sent 2 peacekeeping diplomats to the Auvenum to assist in calming the rampant civil unrest, and prevent civil war.
"Due to unforseen circumstances, the Auvenese people have decided that it's a good idea to abdicate Prince Gilzem. Both Aenopia and Emosia will do whatever is required to bring this civil unrest to ease." Says Logan Ross, governor and diplomat of the Crown Dominion of Aenopia. "I do believe that this situation within Auvenum is terrible. The fact that the citizens want to abdicate someone is bad enough. So, that's why I'm offering my help as well. Peace should remain within any micronation, no matter what. " The unrest has seemingly been caused by numerous factors, but most recent tipping point would appear to be Prince Gilzem's refusal to name a newly acquired territory due to religious reasons. Because of this, the citizens are demanding abdication of Prince Gilzem. "We will try our best to reach a compromise between the king and his people, and to put an end to this unrest." Says Emperor James I. "We ask that any others willing to help to please assist us to keep peace within Auvenum." |
